Educational Theatre

Anna is a theatre artist and educator. Anna has taught theatre at Sussex County Community College as an adjunct professor, directed children’s theatre, coached one-on-one acting students, and collaborated with nonprofit organizations, and other artists to facilitate theatre-based workshops. Anna earned her B.A. in Theater from The Penn State University School of Theater and her M.A. in Educational Theatre, Colleges and Communities from New York University, Steinhardt.

Arts-Based SEL Workshop Feedback From Sparta Middle School Teachers

- Our students had a great time with the icebreaker activities and with Anna’s leadership.

- The students truly enjoyed themselves and it was rewarding seeing kids who don’t normally interact having a good time with one another.

 - Students had the chance to engage with each other in a non-academic way where they still had to listen, connect with others and follow procedures. 

-Well organized and the presentation seemed to be a positive experience for the students.  

-They (the students) enjoyed the activities and all participated willingly.
